 No one can deny Apple's large and well-known App Store compared to the Android Market from Google. It has been a lot of talk about how Apple is, financially speaking, more profitable than Google's Android Market with an impressive big number of apps daily downloaded.

According to some developers, things are a little bit different when it comes to selling apps and profits. Spacetime Studios,a developer that offers popular apps for both platforms, has been observing lately much more activity on the gaming for Android users than iOS.


The company's Pocket Legends app has discovered that it is generating more revenues through in-app purchases, making some 30 to 50 percent more from Android users than its iOS.

Spacetime Studios says its daily activity on Android is double intense than the iOS version; 9,000 times a day downloads for Android compared to 3,000 to 4,000 range on iOS. The frequency of playing and downloading the app is larger for the Android users, bringing more money for the developer.

Traditionally, Apple has been seen as the leader when it comes to apps, generating plenty of incomes for most of the developers. Still, we have to take into consideration the fact that Android ecosystem has expanded noticeably lately in every direction and it's not a shock to see it surpassing Apple on this area too.
